Let’s use this forum topic to discuss superannuation, mkay?

I was under the impression that if you were invoicing a company with an ABN then the company was not required to make a super contribution.
However i have been reading fact sheets at the ATO website and this may not be the case. i could be wrong of course

Yeah I believe depending on the amount of money and duration you are working for a company (possibly above $950/week) you can put into your contract or through negotiations that they will make the super payments.

Monica Davidson who runs a business called Freelance Success explained all this to me when I started freelancing :)

    She could help you :)
