Documentary Editor, Drama Editor and Assistant Editor

Karen graduated with an MA (Drama Editing) from the Australian Film Television and Radio School in 1999. She has gone on to edit a wide range of programs both in the UK and Australia, including several award winning documentaries.

With an interest in story telling and sensitivity to both the subject and filmmaking process, Karen brings technical and creative skills to every project she works on. Karen has also lectured MA students in film making at the College of Fine Arts, UNSW.

I don't think you ever stop learning as an editor. After over a decade working in documentary, I have spent the last couple of years assisting some of the best drama editors in Australia. The education has been invaluable. I'm now looking for opportunities to put it to good use.

I am Melbourne based but happy to travel for work.
