The revolutionary editor Dede Allen, ACE (86) passed away on
Saturday April 17th after a stroke. Born in 1923 and still editing in
2008 Dede cut many landmark films including the ground breaking Bonnie and Clyde and The Hustler. She was nominated for Academy Awards for Dog Day Afternoon, Reds and Wonder Boys.
