guild events newsletter interviews & articles news archive	\|\| St Kilda Shorts at Dog\'s Bar - Focus on Current Affairs & News Editing Dog's Bar Cafe hosts St Kilda Shorts every Monday night. On Monday 26th April there will be a focus on Current Affairs & News. The guest will be Greg Field, Editor 7.30 Report. Greg made a career change from high school music teacher to video editor in 1995, and has worked with ABC-TV in News and Current Affairs since then. He now works for the 7.30 Report and the Insiders program, using the Final Cut Pro editing software. Greg will discuss the role of the editor in news production, and the particular pressures and expectations that go with the job. Various examples of current affairs stories will be screened. Start 8pm / End approx 10pm with short interval Short film screenings, question & answer session with the guest host and a free drink & nibbles at Dog's Bar afterwards Time: 8pm Where: Dog's Bar, 54 Acland Street, St. Kilda, VIC. Cost: $10 includes a glass of wine or beer.
