The nominees for the seventh annual 2005 Lexus IF (Inside Film) Awards
were announced on Tuesday the 18th of November by Australian stars Adam
Garcia and Emily Browning at Café Sydney, Customs House.
The Proposition leads the table in the Australian people’s choice
awards with nine nominations including the SHOWTIME IF Award for Best
Feature Film along with Little Fish which was nominated for eight
awards and Look Both Ways, nominated for seven awards.
The nominees for the Inside Film magazine IF Award for Best Editing are:
Little Fish - Alexandre de Franceschi ASE and John Scott ASE
Look Both Ways - Denise Haratzis ASE
The Proposition - Jon Gregory
Film Critics Circle of Australia Awards
Nominations in the annual Film Critics Circle of Australia
Awards for Australian Film were announced with Little Fish,
directed by Rowan Woods, dominating with a total of eleven nominations.
The nominees for the Best Editing Category of the FCCA Awards are:
Wolf Creek - Jason Ballantine
Little Fish - Alexander De Franceschi ASE and John Scott ASE
Look Both Ways - Denise Haratzis ASE
AFI Awards
All nominees for the 2005 AFI Awards were announced at the L'Oréal
Paris 2005 AFI Awards Nominations Announcement, held at the Wharf
Restaurant in Sydney on 21 October 2005. Special guests Claudia Karvan
and Alex Dimitriades announced this year’s nominees with LITTLE FISH
picking up 13 nominations, THE PROPOSITION was nominated 12 times while
LOOK BOTH WAYS and WOLF CREEK also did very well.
