Although primarily a documentary editor Lindi Harrison has worked across some very challenging projects, including large website developments,
Museum exhibitions and even the hugely ambitious 12 screen Sydney Olympic Games Presentation. Lindi's recent work included editing Tim Slade's highly acclaimed 4, where she weaved the magical work of four outstanding violinists to Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.
Educated in Adelaide, Lindi has a
Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Education and originally studied editing at AFTRS following a successful time as an assistant editor working with some of the best editors in Australia. Feeling the need to 'give something back' Lindi has enjoyed returning to AFTRS to teach her craft to many exciting young students.
Now she brings her wonderful talents to the office of President of The Australian Screen Editors Guild.
In her words, "I am engaged in the practicalities of advancing professional standards and the recognition of Editors. I value the role of the Guild as a cultural, educational and professional organisation and am impressed and encouraged by the generosity, skills and talent of my colleagues. I look forward to continuing my long and productive relationship with the Guild."
