The 2006 ASE AGM was held on Saturday at the Paddington RSL. Thank you to all those who attended.
Minutes
from last year were passed, as was the financial report. No special
resolutions were put forward to consider, but there was plenty of good
conversation over a few drinks.
The Executive Committe was reelected, bidding Sara Bennett farewell and welcoming back Chris Mill.
Peter Whitmore was reelected as President and Philiipa Rowlands as Vice President.
Peter went on to thank all members and sponsors who have provided support to the Guild over the last year.
The Nominations have been announced for the Inaugural ASE Awards. The awards for Best Editing cover Feature Drama, Documentary, Television Drama and Short Film. The awards will be given out at a ceremony in Sydney on December 10th 2006.
