Hi there,

Earlier this year I completed a Bachelor of Digital Media (Hons) at UNSW. After some overseas travel I am now ready to start work, with my primary objective and passion being editing and post production work.

I am looking for any sort of editing + post work from an assistant / junior post production + editor -
full time / part time / freelance

Really just looking to gain some experience, and I was reading through some old threads talking about an ASE mentorship program and was wondering if there was any more information on that or how I go about it....

Any Internship / Mentorship would be fantastic ... As Im willing to learn as much as possible...

Ive been editing for 4-5 years using Avid / FCP / Media 100 / Premiere Pro / Vegas along with a decent amount of After Effects experience.

Cheers

Sebastian

Sebastian,

If you go to the ASE homepage, there is a link re: the Mentor Scheme and how it all works - all the info you need is there.

Imust say I found my Mentorship with Dany Cooper ASE invaluable - even in some ways neither of us expected. If you have clear goals for the future, it is a very worthwhile thing to do.

You sound like you have your head around NLEs, but the thing an experienced mentor can being is a lot of knowledge about how the industry works etc, and you can't learn that without living it.

All the best.
