If you think you’re the only sound engineer who doesn’t know everything
’technical’, you’re wrong! This course is designed to extend your practical and theoretical experience in the technical aspects of sound and sound production, complementing your operational knowledge. It won’t qualify you as a technician, but it will make you more confident when difficulties arise with state-of-the–art technology. No longer will you fear the ghost in the machine!

Course Director Chris McKeith is the AFTRS Sound Department Mix lecturer, and a Digidesign Certified Trainer. Chris has extensive experience with digital audio workstations and mixing systems, and prior to joining AFTRS Chris worked in commercial TV, as well as and operating his own music and post-production studio.
