Trying to get into the industry

Hi there.

I am currently studying A bechelor of Mulitmedia and would love to get into some editiing.

The only problem is... I dont know how!


Can anyone reccomend where i would start to perhaps try and find some work in the industry?

Hi Patrick, you might want to go to another thread started by Arcane who asked the same question, go to:

It gives some really good basic advise from the pros at this site, for instance the mentorships that the ASE offers (I'm in one at the moment) and also about just getting around and meeting others with film interests and being persistent. Hope it helps.
It's good your doing a degree in multimedia, I did mine in sociology. It was good for learning to deconstruct gender constructs in society, but not good for editing.
