Could you please help me?! I am not a professional editor and do not know much about it.

Please explain what E.P.K stands for and its meaning (used in the following context 'Digital Master Betacam of the E.P.K.'

Electronic Press Kit - an assembly of shots, interviews etc for use by broadcasters. Usually commissioned by a corporation to create publicity for an event that might otherwise not get to air e.g. building being knocked down, launch of product, opening of bridge....

Or in Retail Land for example .... an EPK is supplied by , Miramax of their latest movie for you to take all the good bits and arrange them out of context in order to create a cross promotion retail TVC encouraging the punter to rush out and buy a burger/paper/beverage on the strength that SHREK just appeared to endorse said burger/paper/beveage. Oh and punter will probably get a chance to win some SHREK do-dad, but not likely.
