The ASE is currently conducting a short survey in conjunction with Sundays Event (see website home page for details).
The purpose of this survey is to get a snapshot of what the current employment conditions for editors and assistant editors are IN AUSTRALIA.
A summary of this survey will be placed on the ASE website which can be accessed by members only. It will show at a glance conditions under which editors are working.
For example, it will show highest and lowest wages being paid across the various sectors.
It will also show how many editors are working with a signed agreement and what hours have been agreed to.
It is hoped this summary will help as a guide to inform member editors during the process of their negotiations.
We ask you to take a couple of minutes to complete this survey. FOR EDITORS AND ASSISTANTS WORKING IN AUSTRALIA.
